Hello,

StoreShield started with a simple engineering project.

A few years ago, we began working with a multi-unit restaurant brand in Canada. We were there to solve technology problems, but the more time we spent with operators, the more we understood the business behind the technology.

We sat with operations teams, worked with POS data, marketing campaigns, guest feedback, and day-to-day restaurant workflows. One pattern kept repeating.

Stores rarely fail all at once.

Performance slips quietly. A few more unhappy guests. Slower service. Inconsistent execution. Missing items. By the time those signals appear in weekly reports or monthly sales numbers, the damage has already started.

We wondered if operators could see those signals while they were still small.

That question became StoreShield.

We started by bringing data together from different systems so operators could understand what was happening across every store. As we worked alongside restaurant teams, we realized visibility wasn't enough. Operators needed to know which stores were drifting, why they were drifting, who needed to act, and whether those actions actually solved the problem.

When we analyzed a 56-store restaurant network, we found that only a handful of stores accounted for most recurring guest issues. Some locations had more than five times the low-rating exposure of the network average. After structured intervention, several stores reduced negative guest experiences and improved their ratings. The lesson wasn't that restaurants lacked good operators. It was that operational drift is hard to see until it's already affecting guests.

That's why we built StoreShield.

Not to replace operators. Not to build another dashboard. To help restaurant teams detect operational drift earlier, recover faster, and protect the guest experience before it turns into lost traffic.

A few principles guide everything we build.

Your data belongs to you. We don't sell it, mine it for advertising, or share it with third parties. Your business data stays yours. If you ever decide to leave, you can export everything.

We build with operators, not for operators. Every feature comes from real conversations, real observations, and real operational challenges.

If StoreShield succeeds, it won't be because we built better software.

It'll be because more stores stay healthy, more guests leave happy, and operators can solve problems before they become expensive ones.

With care,

The StoreShield Team
